COVID-19 survey for PLWHIV

HARP-PS needs your help with a survey to see how people with HIV ≥ 50 are coping during the COVID-19 pandemic. It's an online survey that should take about 20 minutes, asking questions about your health, mental health, and day-to-day needs. You'll get a $10 gift card for completing the survey.

You are eligible if you are:

  1. At least 50 years old
  2. Are HIV+
  3. Currently living in the Coachella Valley
  4. Able to complete a survey in English
  5. Have an email address

This survey is completely anonymous. Your identity, contact information, and HIV status are not being shared with the researchers.

The survey is only for people currently living in the Coachella Valley, since its purpose is to share the findings with local service providers so they can meet the immediate needs of their clients during this crisis. Please feel free to share this invitation with other HIV+ Valley residents who may qualify.

To participate in this study, call 760-408-6267 and ask about the “COVID-19 and HIV study.” You'll be asked a few questions to make sure you qualify for the study, and then given a link to the online survey. A $10 e-gift card of your choice (Amazon, Target, Albertsons) will be emailed to you You will also have the option to donate the incentive to HARP-PS if you do not wish to keep it for yourself – this will help us do future research projects to benefit our HIV+ community.

About Us

The purpose of the Council is to ensure the development of a client-centered, comprehensive continuum of care for persons living with HIV disease (PLWH) throughout the TGA. In doing so, the Council provides effective planning for the TGA and promotes development of HIV/AIDS health services, personnel, and facilities that meet identified health and support service needs in a cost-effective manner, reduce inefficiencies, and address the needs of uninsured, underinsured, and low-income HIV infected individuals.
