Dear Friends,
I hope this finds you well, healthy, and safe during these challenging times. Today, on World AIDS Day 2021, we continue to bring attention to the HIV epidemic, increasing awareness and knowledge to End the Epidemic, and advocating and supporting people and communities in need. A new free offering from RDERed can help spot and address health equity.
A Word on Community Engagement
Ending the HIV Epidemic and inequities begin with Community. What are our communities’ needs? How have they changed over time? What gaps exist? What opportunities exist? How can we improve our planning by using real-time information from our communities while assessing and working to bridge the digital divide?
Community Engagement + Data as a Superpower
For 15 years, RDE has been engaging and surveying thousands of people living in the most vulnerable communities served by Ryan White, CDC, and NIH HIV/AIDS Programs and other federal programs to leverage data to reduce health disparities and improve equitable, coordinated, and high-quality service and programming.
This data has been used in:
  • Continuous quality improvement (CQI),
  • Priority-setting,
  • Statewide integrated planning,
  • Resource allocations,
  • And other PDSA projects.
That contributed to:
  • Improved outcomes,
  • More engaged stakeholders,
  • And healthier communities.
Our platform has been designed for our communities in mind: health-literacy-aware, multi-lingual, above-and-beyond HIPAA security and privacy, with built-in incentives distribution and auditing, and real-time, visual priority population dashboards and analytics to ensure meaningful, actionable, and user-friendly information to those Data Heroes driving change.
e2Geospatial Visual Analytics or Geospatial Reporting.
This superpower streamlines efforts and dramatically reduces administrative burdens, while empowering planners and stakeholders with actionable, visual information to make better decisions. The success stories, findings, and lessons learned are nationally disseminated.
